 |
ALTA maintains a Sample Control Department designed to meet stringent FDA Good Laboratory Practice Standards. A segregated sample log-in area has been dedicated to receipt and unpacking of biological samples. Sample security, temperature maintenance and document tracking is conducted according to ALTA's Standard Operating Procedures.
Biohazard Laboratories
The bioanalytical sample preparation facilities are housed in two OSHA compliant biohazard laboratories. In addition to having Class II biological hoods, the laboratories feature and additional 48 linear feet of hood space over an 1,800 square foot area.
Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
Alta offers API analysis using the Sciex API 365®, Sciex API 3000 or Sciex API 4000. The utilization and optimization of the Sciex API interface in the TurboIonSpray mode has accelerated the development of highly sensitive and robust LC-MC-MS methods for propriety compounds. Alta also offers 96-well sample prep methodologies.
