Welcome to the web site of ALTA Analytical
Laboratory, providers of specialty mass spectrometry services to pharmaceutical, chemical
and environmental companies located worldwide since 1990. ALTA is a privately held
California corporation employing staff of over 35 scientists. Our facilities are
located
at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, 25 miles east of downtown Sacramento.
Alta established an immunochemistry laboratory in San Diego, California,
in 1999. ALTA has been providing Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass
Spectrometry Services (LCMS) to pharmaceutical and chemical companies since its
inception. The immunochemistry group has over 15 years of experience in the
development of custom immunoassays and the validation of esoteric assays. Our High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Group (HRMS)
has long been recognized as the premier provider of PCDD/PCDF,
PCB, and PAH analytical services to the paper industry, air monitoring groups as
well as environmental remediation companies. ALTA has a proven track record of rapidly
developing sensitive and rugged methods
and bringing these methods into production in a timely fashion.
Our primary goal is to provide flexible analytical services on time
through advanced automation and friendly personalized services.
